I know we need caution when reporting alleged war crimes but ABC News is always careful to never criticise Israel. Both IDF & Israeli police have acknowledged the incident occurred. 2 Palestinian men surrendered then they were shot dead. #IsraeliTerrorism #Jenin #WestBank

All of which is why I am a socialist.
Mainstream economics argues that capitalism is a system built on voluntary exchange and efficiency.

Which is a nice idea.

But Amazon depicts the grim reality - capitalism is a wealth-generation system for the privileged few, and thrives on a toxic mix of control, exploitation, and power.

Planned obsolescence is now systemic.

The privileged few own the production systems; the rest of us are trapped in the upgrade–replace–discard loop, and global waste is accumulating faster than we can recycle or dispose of it.

Moderates despair as the Liberals enter a ‘death spiral’ egged on by Murdoch
For the first time, the Liberal Party has lost its position as the country’s preferred economic manager – causing many to wonder if it will ever win back government.

I absolutely agree with the sentiments expressed below. But I think that “tenant” should be replaced with “tenet”. Maybe predictive text made the error.

This tragedy is another example of capitalism’s failure to regulate building standards in its insane desire for profit at all costs. We need to be alert to govt’s tendency to pander to business interests by diluting regulatory requirements.
