I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's a reason Israeli leaders including Netanyahu openly funneled money to Hamas while simultaneously jailing and torturing the guy who has worked relentlessly for an actual honest-to-god two-state solution. A really, really clear reason.

Even in Israel, nearly half the population believes Barghouti should be freed. Many of the officers who ARRESTED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE believe he should be freed. As recently as 2007, Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres campaigned with the promise of freeing Barghouti (a promise he of course broke.)

Anyone who still believes Israel has ever operated in anything resembling good faith would be thoroughly cured of that delusion if they read about Marwan Barghouti. In a world with any justice, he would be president of Palestine.

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Polanski is talking nonsense about wealth taxes.

The prisoner Mahmoud Abu Al-Foul from Gaza was released from the occupation prisons, having lost his eyes due to severe torture and with an amputated foot.
The image shows a man sitting outdoors under clear daylight, wearing a beige Nike shirt. His face appears visibly injured — his eyes are damaged and discolored, consistent with severe trauma — and he has a calm but pained expression.

You'll have to excuse the rant from the Daily Express journalist

Well done Zack for staying calm! 💚

Would it surprise you to learn that we are <closer> now to the Federal Reserve’s actual 2% inflation target than we have been <~85%> of the time (155 months) since the Fed formally established its 2% PCE target in 2012? In all the obsessive inflation coverage, have you heard this even once?
