In addition to money donations to food banks & food aid for people, please also consider donating money or food & litter to pet food pantries. Many people who rely on SNAP to feed themselves will now need to redirect $ to buy groceries that they would have spent on pet food before.

Maine will vote in under two weeks on a measure that would make voting a lot harder for a lot of people, including disabled folks, older folks, and anyone who struggles to meet strict ID requirements.

If passed, this would really reshape voting in 2026.

NEW VIDEO – youtu.be/_vU5wwwkoB0

This one is about how fascism doesn’t just rewrite history—it erases it. The grief of what’s been lost. The people, the stories, the futures we’ll never get back because someone decided they didn’t belong in the record. This video is me trying to make sense of it.

I am so worried about friends I hear using chatGPT to make financial decisions - my loved ones( & myself myself included) already have access issues to good, sensible financial advice and this trash is going to lead to so many poor decisions because of the bias that is poured in.
Study finds A.I. LLMs advise women to ask for lower salaries than men. When prompted w/ a user profile of same education, experience & job role, differing only by gender, ChatGPT advised the female applicant to request $280K salary; Male applicant=$400K.

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people:

1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money
3) We won’t need a lot of troops
4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq
5) We’ll find WMDs
6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators
7) It will be easy
8) It won’t take long

All lies.

👀 Scoop: Trump and Republicans want USPS to sell off its brand new EVs and chargers.

That would mean literally **ripping up post office parking lots** to auction off assets with no private-sector value.

It’s buried in the Senate’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

There was a survey a few weeks ago that found half of Americans thought ICE was just hunting criminals. The institutional press have failed to make clear ICE’s primary strategy today is capturing people through the use of compliance traps, and shipping them off to substandard prisons in the South.
ICE is also the fault of a complicit press.

How, where and who did ICE recruit? Why isn't every newspaper in the country devoting themselves to finding out who is in this brand new secret police force that now terrorizes America?

It's the definition of newsworthy. The answer is: they're afraid.
