Just another reminder that when Palantir started as a means of helping cops find sex workers to harass, deceive, and rape, "progressives" clapped like trained seals because the Palantir marketing department barfed the phrase "sex trafficking" into their stupid faces.
“The records show that Palantir is actively working on the technical infrastructure underpinning the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts which could soon impact U.S. citizens.“
Palantir will be used to identify domestic Trump critics soon enough.

One of the many reasons for concern about the killing spree at sea is that the administration is effectively asserting a license for POTUS to kill outside the law those he labels “terrorists.”

A term this administration also applies to domestic political opponents.

amazon threatens this every year and every year they come to the conclusion that actually attempting this would cost them significantly more than what they currently pay, this is *always* an attempt to renegotiate their costs, but the post has not *always* been owned by AMZ’s largest shareholder
Exclusive: Amazon has long been USPS’s top customer, providing over $6 billion in annual revenue in 2025.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

The only way to deal with the actually existing situation that conservatives have created, is to have militant chapters of liberals ready to impose heavy costs on secular institutions to enforce their conformity with liberal norms at pain of forced shutdown.

Something liberals absolutely need to straight adopt from the hard left is the reliance on organised protest as calculated disruption (rather than a communicative effort) and the attendant sense of civic responsibility leftists sometimes reframe as a revolutionary sensibility.

the other thing is that like, a lot of them are being bankrolled by traditional GOP capital, so you get these weird mergers of Oren Cass-style economic populism (which, while stupid in its own right) and traditional supply side economics
The bigger thing about Nalin (& a lot of Gen Z conservatives) is that they try to center young people's economic struggles rhetorically don't actually offer anything new on econ policy. All his answers to economic struggles are "we need less immigrants", which is already established Trump policy
the comments to this Fox News article are so fucking funny, man

There's a lot riding on the 2026 midterm elections, but it probably won't make a difference for tariffs. Regardless of who's in power, either party could find that they like the tariff revenue, the income from investment commitments, and, maybe most of all, their coercive power. My latest for IOG:
