The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

These elections were a good start , but there is still a lot to do . Trump is already try to paint the winners as a bunch of radicals .They are going to go into overdrive with the hate and lies ,so the battle is far from won. More protests , boycotts and general strikes . Epstein died in Trumps jail

Think back to how you felt a year ago when Trump was reelected.
Now think about how you feel after last night's election.
You volunteered. You went to protests. You didn't check out.
You put in the work required for our democracy — and it's paying off.
Remember this.

The oligarchy came out in full force against Zohran Mamdani's fight for a more affordable NYC.
It didn't matter.
Let his victory in the face of Big Money serve as a reminder that people have the power.

This is a start , but don't think Trump and his gang are just going to sit there. His lying hate machine is going to go into full attack mode , and they are going to do anything they can to discredit this . And let's not forget Trump was the president when Trump was when Epstein died in jail .
The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani.
The president and his allies came after him.
Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.
He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.
His politics can win anywhere.

Dick Cheney did more than anyone else to build up expansive and destructive executive branch powers in the wake of 9/11; he lived to see another president turn those same powers against his own daughter.
He should be a warning sign to the GOP today but too many of them are in the cult.

Freedom , well that is if you are a white Christian male , member of the Gop and the NRA , anti LGBTQ2 , racist , anti muslim , anti immigration , anti women , anti vax , etc. For all of the rest of us , well to bad.
People who force their religion on others will force their politics on others. It’s why we separate church from state.
