I went through the disability process twice and wound up dropping it in no small part because of the combination of AI auto-rejections and the extreme nastiness that follows.
As in they demanded a psychiatric evaluation because I applied due to long COVID.

To compound the stupidity, it's important to understand that Venezuela's oil is not economically viable.
It's a lower grade than oil found elsewhere, and it requires special machinery. Venezuela had that, but it's fallen into disrepair.
