“DeGoogle” is my new favorite verb. As an ADHDer, though, I hate changing systems and it’ll take me forever to get off #Google, but this #AI stuff sucks. I don’t want it & I don’t want to waste electricity & clean water on #GenAI.
In the past year I've moved:
- From Google Drive to a pair of locally hosted NAS
- From Gmail (mostly) to @tuta.com
- From Google Docs/Sheets to a combo of LibreOffice & Cryptpad
Still working off getting off Google calendar and getting a few other things moved
