This is the first state to pass a statute that invalidates existing licenses and birth certificates. We may see more states pass similar legislation this year. This is the next step they're moving towards. Ensuring that trans people are pushed out of public life entirely.

I will never get over the fact that the Republican Party chose as its standard-bearer, and this country elected as its President, quite possibly the worst human being on the planet.

imo If blue states don't fight this with all they have in EVERY possible way, America deserves fascism it is quickly moving toward. i don't know how many times i've seen some variation of "you can't change [thing i have changed" as if it will make me stop being trans. ive had people argue this point ad nauseam after showing photographic proof of before and after the change(s). i don't know how to explain humans are not immutable
