part of this is like, conservatives projecting; part of this is conservatives unable to imagine politics without money; and part of this is dudes who are so out of touch with feminized labor that they think children's birthday parties exist as a spontaneous act of parthogenesis
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

The NHL, of course, would probably have to reign in its members who are currently working a side job as ICE agents before they can put out a statement.
BREAKING: The National Basketball Players Association issues statement on ICE killings in Minnesota.

This is exceedingly impressive. I mean, maybe the poor guy could benefit from not playing 20 minutes a night? Is this a cry for help?

In this context it is also worth noting that the quorum for both houses is 50%+1, wherever they may meet. If the Republicans and Trump's goons occupy the Capitol and refuse to seat a newly elected Democratic congress, they can just meet *literally anywhere,* meete quorum and be Congress.
here's what happens after house elections, which are conducted by each state and locality:

the state certifies the winner
the winners go to washington
they convene a new house
they choose a speaker

notice who isn't involved here? the president or the current speaker or the senate.

I think the disconnect between Atlantic elites is that Americans think Donald Trump is a kid getting to drive a monster truck for Make A Wish and Europeans and Canadians think Donald Trump is the president of the United States.

Logan Mailloux (cheap one-year extension with St Louis) has played thirty-nine games of defensively dreadful hockey. He also made his team take a lot of penalties. You could make up for those things with some other positive attributes, but he does not.

One viz "rule" that I follow almost always is that scatters with the same units on both axes should be square and scatters with different units should be non-square. Squareness here produces whitespace at the bottom which tells you that no team is as bad defensively as CAR/COL are good offensively.
5v5 chances, the foundation of the sport. I would enjoy a Colorado-Carolina final.

Immédiatement, Danault sort Veleno de l'alignement. C'est pas si pire comme amélioration, pour un choix de deuxième ronde.

So there remains the possibility that I have done some silly thing, and gotten any number of things wrong, but the best I got for now is: for 753 minutes of 5v5 one season Craig Smith at age 30 simply ran rampant and crushed all and sundry before him, and then returned to his middle-six self.

Funny you should ask: I saw that and thought "that can't be right, I must have made some sort of measurement mistake somewhere" so I went to looking into some things.

Happy retirement to Craig Smith. He was the only active Craig in the league.

I saw some commentary that this was the largest non-Covid-era deficit in federal history and it's probably worth dealing with that now.

I presume it's based on dollar value at the time the deficit was incurred, but that doesn't account for inflation or the changing size of the economy.
