You are embarrassing yourself by lauding this monster. Do you defend these views, which he held lifelong. Where is the "nuance in these words?" Shame!

“The president demolished the White House.”
“The president politicized the FBI and DOJ to go after his opponents.”
“The president is why life is more expensive today.”
“The president was besties with Epstein.”
Messaging isn’t hard and makes you wonder why Dems aren’t saying this every day.

Why do First Class tickets get their own shorter TSA lane? Doesn't this violate the equal protection clause? Isn't this clearly discrimination based on wealth? I can understand precheck because you pay to get cleared in advance. But that doesn't hold water for general security.

If you look up “heretic” in the OED, you’ll find the oldest use of the word recorded in English is the sentence “The kyng said & did crie the pope was heretike” (c. 1330, Mannyng’s Chronicle).
This presumes that the essence of Catholicism is the worship and/or veneration of clergy, particularly the Pope, and that’s never been a settled thing within Catholicism.
I mean, yes, these guys are ridiculous, but not because they argue with the pope. Catholics argue with the pope. It’s a thing.

someone should tell Trump they don't give the Peace Prize to people who blow up boats and murder those on high seas nor to those who deploy military against their own people. NEVER.

This is why it's a "targeted act of violence" and not "domestic terrorism": because it's only terrorism if you can blame the left, and when the right does it, it's an isolated lunatic that's obviously not represetative.

the political policy cure for “male loneliness” is
- more time to hang with the fellas (4 day work week)
- more money to spend with the fellas (higher wages)
- more things to do with the fellas (taxing the rich and building 3rd spaces)

It's quite dark that holding the opinion that "workers should exert concerted market pressure to prevent employers from treating us like slaves" is now equivalent to "encouraging political violence" but what can you expect from an authoritarian regime that thinks only 30% of us are real Americans?

This is how you do it.
I like this. Since under RFK Jr, Covid shots are now for people with underlying conditions that put them at risk, Michigan’s chief medical executive Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian states that not having the most recent Covid shot constitutes such an underlying condition.

I'm just going to be straightforward. Celebrating someone for polite but uncivil discourse as the model of ideal politics is wrong. The insistence on civil debate when one side wants to debate whether the other side should even exist is wrong.
This is not to say that debate is not the ideal.

It is morally acceptable to be at least a little happy when bad people who actively pursue political violence die, even if the means of their death is abhorrent and denouncable. Sometimes, the universe provides just comeuppance, like a gun violence advocate being shot. "Prove me wrong."

I'm less into Roko's Basilisk and more into Frankenstein's monster.
We should not attempt to create yet another god to serve.
We should play god and make the next generation of flawed humanoids, without perfection as the goal.
This is existential: make co-equal symbionts, not apex predators.

The thing about living in a human society is you either decide that everyone (except those for whom it would be medically dangerous) has to take VACCINES into their bodies or everyone (with no exceptions at all) has to take VIRULENT PATHOGENS in from those around them and, look, the first is better.

I am with people that we might need to revive the phrase "Deep Learning" to encompass all this good science stuff, with the phrase "AI" coming to mean "heavily tweaked/massaged/manipulated massive parameter large language model". I don't doubt these things can be useful in narrow settings

I would do this but my starting opinion would be that your personal morality shapes your interpersonal actions/reactions and thus every opinion is in some sense inherently political as it will invariably be closer to either manichaeism (with your opinion usually cast as "good-aligned") or pluralism.
Okay, lets do this.
One like, one opinion that's not on politics.
