Dumb-dumbs chasing that dollar. That said, it is kind of wild that twenty-three official Oz books, including the fourteen written by L. Frank Baum, are in the public domain, and no one's really taking advantage of that. They struggle to get past Wizard.

The character in the top hat is Ebenezer T. Squint from "Pinwheel" -- one of the first shows ever on Nickelodeon. He was created by a wonderful friend of my wife's named Brad Williams -- a huge talent who was taken from us way too early in 1993. So happy to see his creation resurrected tonight.

This is so sad. Not because AOL is shutting down it's dial-up internet service, but because it didn't shut down a decade ago. It's 2025. Everyone in America should have access to affordable broadband. Even rural towns.

It's quite shocking to think about, but parts of the country still are locked out of modern innovations within our rapid expansion of broadband fiber optics infrastructure. Rural neighborhoods and small communities that are far removed from big cities and large towns still run on dial-up & Satellite
