Sort of a “give a mouse a cookie” format but more absurd. You can call a gorilla on your banana and make a new friend.

A man receives the 12 Days gifts from his true love enumerated in the song. At first it seems like a terrible idea. But he then starts to change his mind. Several clever gags on the song occur within the text.

people think that the more you study the more you know, this is backwards. the more you study the less you know, which is awesome because then you ask more questions, which leads to more studying, and studying rules. all things are endlessly complicated. studying is a gateway to more studying 🗃️

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

I told the post office clerk I needed some stamps with my usual caveat: no flags, no white guys. She rummaged through the drawer and said "Is SpongeBob a white guy?" and everyone on line was like "No."

I'm haunted by ghosts of many sandwiches but an all-time champion is a club-style veggie sandwich on marbled rye with ingredients stacked so tightly and precisely you'd think a drill sergeant commanded them, made by a grandma who ran a corner store I frequented in college. I yearn for that sandwich.
be nice! talk about sandwiches!!
