You are doing the right thing. It sucks to be under siege but you are under siege. And you won't be free while these law enforcement agencies continue to exist.
I can't describe how bad Minneapolis feels right now. My neighbors are pulling kids out of school. The public schools are offering remote learning until 2/12. We are having conversations in our alleys about how to protect ourselves. It feels like a military occupation with a blockade.
The US Department of Agriculture suspends all federal funding to Minnesota, effective immediately.

Folding phones are as unintelligible to me as like, NFTs were. This feels like objectively worse design. Give me a phone with a headphone jack in it, make it so I can rotate photos either right or left when I edit them. We used to have good things like that
Still wild to me that companies got together and lied about a mass shoplifting epidemic and fundamentally changed things in all stores so that it’s worse for everyone, and then we found out they lied, and no one fucking did anything about it, and this is just life now

i used to think i was endogenic until i realized that the reason i couldn't/can't recall a single big, inciting traumatic incident is because my trauma is emotional neglect. it was the *lack* of good, emotionally fulfilling moments that did it.
i maintain that a good 90% of endogenic systems r traumagenic systems who dont realize just how traumatized they really are and thats a big part of why i think saying systems who identify themselves as endogenic arent "real systems" creates more pawblems than it solves.

do u guys ever feel like most of your lives are like spent in a haze where u vaguely just kinda feel the exact same as u did like 7 years ago and then u have these really brief moments where u snap back into reality and you're like "woah, im actually not a teenage girl, im like 22 years old"

restaurants in the suburbs are interesting cause In one trip to the bathroom I'll have one woman give me a death stare followed by another who will loudly tell me that she doesn't have any issues sharing a bathroom with me

Okay, look, usually i dislike the “oh this is a popular game so we’ll make our own version” knockoff cycle, but the “disco-like” becoming a real thing I’m actually kind of excited about because, like, everyone’s having to WRITE. You can’t just do “vampire survivors but zombies” with DISCO

The fact that Americans have a mythology for every city and state and the rest of the world seemingly doesn't is not a feature of American toughness, it is a feature of American mythology and a lack of interest in other nations.
