Folks, please don’t tell artists they shouldn’t be making or selling their art right now. For many, it’s how they pay the bills. Art is vital during times like this. ALL ART. Whether it’s a protest sign or a book cover or just a beautiful drawing. It’s part of the heart of humanity.

I have BPPV & it is the WORST. An episode feels like being shoved in a barrel, thrown roughly down a bumpy hill, & landing in a rapid before finally crawling ashore feeling more nauseous (& vomiting) than you ever have in your life. I'm glad to see people speaking about how debilitating it is.

I found out that you can reuse a decades old calendar if its year’s dates line up with the current year’s, so this year I got a lovely 1998 Xena: Warrior Princess calendar. The way they added show events into it is cracking me up.

A poem by Diana Wynne Jones, very early in her career. Wilkins Tooth was published in 1973. Richard, Colin and Mickey in the poem are not fictionalized: those are indeed the names of her sons.

It bothers me a lot when people erase queer, trans, and nonbinary authors writing m/m fiction in favor of calling us all "straight women" because we aren't gay cis white men,
But it especially pisses me off when people toss my friends' names at me like a gotcha.
