He isn’t right often, but Rand Paul is right about Venezuela policy.
Rand Paul: "All these designations are steps towards war -- calling drug runners terrorists, saying, 'Oh, if they have a designation'-- Well, how'd they get it? We gave it to them. Why is the former president of Honduras released? So some narcoterrorists are okay & others we're going to blow up"

My boss never gives direct compliments or feedback. He only talks about plants and I have to take from it what I will. In this case he said this was the nicest specimen of this species he's ever seen grown. Considering he grew it for 40 years, and our director grew it for 50, it's a nice compliment.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: the most effective strategy for reducing public concern about migration would be to shut down major right-wing media outlets

Republicans and Trump alone are responsible for these massive hikes. Literally no one else.
New: Congress leaves town until 2026 with no health care deal

4 House Rs + 214 Ds teamed up to force a vote in January on a 3-year ACA funding extension.

But Senate Republicans tell me that bill is DOA in the Senate.

Premiums will rise for ~22 million.

Trump, Sept. 20, in reference to Erik Siebert, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia: “He didn’t quit, I fired him!”

Trump’s deputy AG, three months later: Siebert wasn’t fired, he quit.

These guys keep assuming that we all have bad memories.
WELKER: Is the DOJ taking directions about who to prosecute from President Trump?

BLANCHE: No. Of course we're not. And also, Mr. Siebert wasn't fired because he refused to bring cases. He resigned.
