Y'all. They're not trying to get us to believe it. They're trying to wear us out.

The lies are not the point. The rage that they generate, and the time and energy that that rage uses up...THAT'S the point. The fatigue is the point.

Alison Luchs, who has worked at the National Gallery of Art for 47 years, agreed to learn Gen Z slang and make videos because she wanted to raise interest in the museum’s art.

Most importantly, public opinion on ICE has shifted dramatically.

Democrats aren’t going to vote to fund DHS/ICE. The public doesn‘t approve of masked federal agents murdering American citizens in broad daylight.

The people of Minnesota are showing how it’s done. We can win together.

The Minnesota civil resistance campaign has been remarkably successful:

- The GOP governor candidate dropped out
- Numerous DOJ officials resigned
- GOP members of Congress are speaking out; business feels pressure
- Noem has been relieved of operational responsibility

The campaign is winning.

The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:

- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE

Opinion | I'm a Minneapolis sociologist who studies violence. Here's how ICE observers are helping.
Research into how violence occurs shows that disapproval from the people around you can help reduce it.

They would vote based on a “promise” by a party that takes orders from a felon? My god… any one of them voting for this, who aren’t retiring, need to be fired in their next election. Did Tuesday’s election mean nothing?????

@democrats.senate.gov "Working hard for the American people" includes HEALTHCARE.

Your constituents are watching. There are plenty of people waiting for next year's primaries to take over if you fail to protect the American people.

Caving now means they just do worse next time. DO NOT CAVE.

The Trump administration is offering $60K in student loan forgiveness as a recruitment tool for ICE, which just proves fighting Biden on student loan relief was never about the loans or “paying your own debt.” It was about who was offering it and who it would’ve helped.

Things I had not thought of about this topic.
This is one of those things that sounds good but the actual policy is completely incoherent and likely to make things worse.
If a global company is paying its workers so little that they need federal benefits, that company should lose eligibility for tax incentives.

Joyful defiance in San Jose for the #NoKings protest.

A small child with a small snack and a big grin just came up to me and cried, “NO KINGS IN AMERICA!” in her tiny voice. Sums up the mood pretty well.
