"We don't talk enough about…"

Can I stop you there? Yes, we do. If anything, we talk too much about.

I think what you mean is

"We don't do enough about…"
LLM, write me a story about a humanity that speaks with grunts and gestures beautifully encoded into a perfect and frozen dialect spoken by their ancestors—sentences then magic-wanded into attention-budget-optimized minimal representations demanding the least attention and eye movement
Maybe the third time's a charm 😄. Yesterday, I posted that we could eliminate things like country-name dropdowns and replace them with free text, perhaps using an LLM to correct errors.

The same people who cannot control a city of 400,000 are manifestly incapable of cancelling a midterm or ending the peaceful transition of power. Keep reminding yourself that you are a lot stronger than they are.

a big problem here is the way every scrap of a claim about Democrats supposedly selling out gets hyped and inflated, and then even when it turns out to be untrue people remember it as having happened, or as having almost happened. Builds bad mental models.
the post everyone got mad about for two hours has been updated turns out it's the opposite actually

heres some things you can do

- stop electing republicans

- pay attention to the things democrats say and do

- touch grass
Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

this is actually exactly what you want Republicans to say, and the people dunking on it are not listening.

“A picture is worth a thousand words, so I skipped through all the pictures, and man this show sucks”
I was asked what I thought now that #pluribus has reached seven episodes.
I’m not seeing any of the liberal subtext some folks are seeing. But I’ve learned to watch the show by fast forwarding through the long, artsy stretches where no one speaks.
There were exactly 2 lines of interesting dialogue.
