Woke up feeling....better about the Hawks than I did yesterday? I dunno man. Losing a close game against a good team on the road on a missed field goal where you fell behind 14-3 in a blink and your defense put Sean McVay in hell was not a bad result.

The Mariners pretty much had to re-sign Josh Naylor, even those he's much much closer to "above average" than what he looked like in Seattle last year. They also pretty much have to acquire two more infielders now.

The current era of the Mariners is, genuinely, pretty fun for the most part. But I will always wonder what path the franchise would have gone down from 2016-2020 or so had No Moves won out earlier and Jerry hadn't been allowed to transact.
