I wish there was a precedent for what happens when a demagogue picks out a vulnerable minority group and labels them as subhuman. I wonder what the next step is and whether any innocent people get hurt. And I wonder whether the demagogue's followers go on trial when the whole thing is over.
here's Trump's full racist rant about MN's Somali community: "Somalians ripped off that state for billions. And they contribute nothing... Ilhan Omar is garbage. She's garbage. Her friends are garbage. These aren't people that work... They come from hell & do nothing but bitch. We don't want them"

Trump pardoned the ex-president of Honduras who shoveled hundreds of tons of cocaine into the U.S. He pardoned the founder of a black market who imported fentanyl from China.

These men poisoned America & killed millions. Whatever Trump’s illegal boat strikes are about, it sure isn’t drugs.
Trump move to pardon Honduras’s ex-president shows counter-drug effort is ‘based on lies and hypocrisy’
Why has Trump blown up alleged narco boats in the Caribbean and at the same time decided to let a big-time trafficker off the hook?

And creating a long-overdue pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants would add 200,000 new jobs to the economy, as well as “increase Americans’ income by $791 billion and generate $184 billion in additional state and local and federal tax revenue from currently undocumented immigrants” 👇🏽
Immigrants have outpaced US-born Americans when it comes to starting a small business, accounting for 30% of all small-business growth.

Immigrant-led businesses also employ nearly eight million Americans.

When immigrants succeed, America succeeds 🇺🇸

I live in a small town in central Minnesota that is known as “Little Sweden” with Swedish flags everywhere and shops selling Swedish goods. It is celebrated. No one accuses residents of “failing to assimilate.” Any guesses why?

Trump: I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it.

By playing the blame game, the administration is making the case for why military shouldn't obey unlawful orders.
The precise contours of the administration’s defense of Trump and Hegseth are still emerging, but it appears to ride on a fine distinction between the general order Hegseth gave for the attack and the specific order Adm. Mitch Bradley gave for the 2nd strike.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.
