This *entire* episode is all of the evidence anyone should ever need, regardless of their politics, for why it's important to have experienced career officials in key government positions (like U.S. Attorney), rather than partisan cronies (unlawfully) appointed solely to do the President's bidding.

Elite impunity, anti monopoly, anti-corruption, affordability.... pretty clear path forward for whoever is able to stop fearing the donors.
The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

Fascinating to also see the bland centrist running for Gov in NJ is looking likely to lose, very important lesson to national Democrats but they'll probably read it is "running women is too woke."
Two new polls today in NYC mayor race: Zohran Mamdani now at 50% to Cuomo's 25% in Emerson poll. In Marist poll, Zohran is up by 16% over Cuomo. Of People who voted early 58%, had cast their ballots for Mamdani. This has the makings of a blow out win for the working class and big loss for oligarchs
