On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

In response to a return-to-office mandate, layoffs, and the cancellation of several games, workers launched a three-day strike.

This is the result of ideologies we have seen prevail in the first half of the last century where human life was dehumanised in the most horrific meaning of the word.

None of this should come as a surprise because it is the logic of supremacy in its purest form.

No you don't.

If immigration enforcement leads to concentration camps and roving death squads, maybe it's time to just get rid of the concept of illegal immigration entirely. You've tried it, it's a bad idea in practice, so bin it.
