this clip encapsulates so much of what has been wrong about MSM Trump coverage for the past decade -- treating Trump's lies and bigotry as a valid "side" of a debate instead of calling it out, because calling it out makes it seem as though you're biased
MSNBC reporter presents Trump's shameful racism towards Somalis as merely "a different view"

This year, universities are giving $228 million to football coaches who failed at coaching football so that they won't coach football anymore.

Murders love to talk about how many people they saved by murdering
Hundreds of millions. Wow, that's a lot. That's more than have died in every single war combined in the entire world since 1900.

In case you’re keeping score, this is the publisher of children’s picture books condemning a tweet by the U.S. Secretary of Defense that depicted one of its characters killing people. Because that’s the world we’re in right now.

I made cream cheese corn for Thanksgiving dinner. Turned the leftovers into corn chowder. Mom loves corn, cheese, potatoes, and soup.

Winner! Winner! Soup dinner!

Mama has some sort of viral infection according to the doctor. She has the same thing last year. I hate it when she feels bad. 😢

I need to find a luthier in my area. I want to have my Dad's student violin repaired. It doesn't have to play, but I would like to hang it up as decor and remembrance.

Found a new-to-me sofa at HforH Restore for $135. Gave it a deep clean. The covers come off, so those went into a hot wash & dry. It came out looking beautifully.

I found this early-20th-century wood chest of drawers on the side of the road.
Yes, I had to pick it up.
No, I couldn't lift it, I rolled it to my car, & a lovely man pulled over to help me.
No, I haven't figured out a way to get it out yet.
It smells like maple syrup.
What do I do with it?

What I planned to do today: Sunday morning breakfast out with Mom, laundry, finish up holiday shopping, & wood working gift projects.

What I did instead: got Mom up really late, breakfast for lunch, deep cleaned the living room, laundry, ordered groceries, refilled meds, & installed a bidet.

These plants needed to come in the house because of a freeze warning on Sunday. I quickly bundled them into one pot & stuck them on this unused table. This afternoon, I dug around my house to find some stuff to make it look more intentional. Cost? $7 for fairy lights.

A reminder that the Epstein files aren't a distraction from the oligarchy. They're an integral part of it.
A reminder: The perpetrators in the Epstein files are Oligarchs, and so are the ones protecting them.
