If I'm spending $100k on a personal vehicle, it should give Mom her own bedroom and be calming, restful retreat.

A friend brought me a gift today. Does he know me or what?

I'm thankful for friends and family.

I need to find a luthier in my area. I want to have my Dad's student violin repaired. It doesn't have to play, but I would like to hang it up as decor and remembrance.

Found a new-to-me sofa at HforH Restore for $135. Gave it a deep clean. The covers come off, so those went into a hot wash & dry. It came out looking beautifully.

I found this early-20th-century wood chest of drawers on the side of the road.
Yes, I had to pick it up.
No, I couldn't lift it, I rolled it to my car, & a lovely man pulled over to help me.
No, I haven't figured out a way to get it out yet.
It smells like maple syrup.
What do I do with it?

What I planned to do today: Sunday morning breakfast out with Mom, laundry, finish up holiday shopping, & wood working gift projects.

What I did instead: got Mom up really late, breakfast for lunch, deep cleaned the living room, laundry, ordered groceries, refilled meds, & installed a bidet.

Strung hammock season out until soup season. I like when a plan comes together.

These plants needed to come in the house because of a freeze warning on Sunday. I quickly bundled them into one pot & stuck them on this unused table. This afternoon, I dug around my house to find some stuff to make it look more intentional. Cost? $7 for fairy lights.

I plan to do more of this while holding my grandson.

Murphy vs deer camping weekend. No one was hurt. Just curious.

I'm a huge fan of this. I buy it by the case. It goes into the laundry and I mix it with an all purpose cleaner and water for every day cleaning & a spray deodorizer and disinfectant.

Mom's travel walker fits in airplane overhead compartments and under the seat. It fits under a two person restaurant booth. Amazing flight attendants and restaurant hostesses. Best $125 I've spent for travel.

How can I make camping and cocktails a lifestyle?
Seriously! I need this!

Murphy and I went for a run/walk this morning. He went for a swim in the lake also. Weekend camping highlights

120+ year old oak table top looks amazing in my trailer.

Murphy has started to alert me or the caregiver about Mom. We think we have figured out why. He does it when her blood pressure is high. He is trained to "cuddle" when I have a panic attack. He does the same thing to Mom when her BP is high. If he can't calm her, he comes to me or the caregiver.

Totally not worrisome at all 😱😱😱

Mom is in bed for the night. Bed alarm is on if she needs to get up. Windows open. Fans running. Dog with his chin on my shoulder. Lying in bed watching The Repair Shop. 30 minutes of me time feels decadent.
