Murphy on Fox News Sunday: "I mean -- c'mon. We're still pretending that ICE is going after dangerous people? They aren't. What is happening in Minnesota right now is a dystopia. ICE is teargassing elementary schools, it is disappearing legal residents into cars, it is murdering American citizens."

Trump murdered an ICU nurse THEN called him a terrorist.

Alex Pretti saved lives for a living.

Trump repaid this American citizen with TEN BULLETS and is now lying about it.

Anyone who supports this brutal lynching should be considered an accomplice and dealt with accordingly.

Congressional Republicans gave Trump a slush fund for ICE and CBP in the "Big Beautiful Bill." Tens of billions of dollars that is still usable even during a shutdown.

Democrats must make rescinding that money the price of any future govt funding, as Republicans did with IRS money from the IRA.

Trump came into his second term eager to be tough on protesters, picked a DefSec who would deploy troops against civilians and built a DHS that picked fights with Democrats and the public.
Invoking the Insurrection Act wouldn't be an unfortunate development for him. It would be an intended one.

Philip Bump: The president suggested on Thursday that unrest in Minneapolis might prompt him to invoke the Insurrection Act. He’s wanted to do that for years.

Trump thugs are killing, brutalizing, and torturing American citizens. That is not an “immigration crackdown.” It’s domestic repression and occupation.
As the Trump administration escalates its immigration crackdown in Minneapolis, arrests and aggressive tactics by ICE and the Border Patrol, many seen on viral videos, have intensified the frustration and fear among residents, business owners and immigrant workers. trib.al/zVm2mk5

The fascists are getting more violent.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

The destruction of NATO from the inside.

Some European officials suspect this is the real aim of the hardline MAGA faction. Since Congress won't allow Trump to exit NATO, occupying Greenland could force the Europeans to. If Trump wants to end NATO , this might be the most convenient way to do it.

I’ve spent my career studying how regimes justify the unjustifiable. So when a civilian driver is labeled a “domestic terrorist,” I know what that language is doing — building a permission structure for violence. Minneapolis isn’t just a tragedy. It’s a warning. I break it down in my new essay.

People might argue that ICE is not recruiting quality agents.

But I would insist that they are in fact successfully recruiting the exact sort of person needed to carry out the mission: reactionary, angry, violent people who don’t believe in democracy.
