good morning, I have noticed that some of the critical responses to the Crave show Heated Rivalry have been, let's say, incomplete

sex scenes are craft! goddammit!
Anatomy of a Sex Scene: Heated Rivalry Edition - Reading the End
Heated Rivalry, AKA the gay hockey show, has been getting a lot of buzz for its explicit(-ish) sex scenes, and a lot of that buzz has been coming from viewers and critics whose experience with the rom...

The excellent @marmaruu.bsky.social created an A+ rendition of my Starfinder 2e character Velraash the Chronoseer. She stands a proud three feet and has a lot of emotions, which occasionally conflicts with her spell-training as a witchwarper and her vocation as a cloud chemist handling concoctions.

Corporate-owned outlets that answer to billionaires are increasingly showing they’re not built for this moment. Independent media is filling the gaps and building something new.

Just drop a description of your #D&D #dnd #ttrpg #pathfinder character in the comments and I'll try and follow up with some drawings.

Give a follow if you'd like (not necessary), and/or retweet for visibility please!

Same. But, science is 100% with us.

With a wife who's a researcher and a mother-in-law who's a professor in a relevant field, I'll once more repeat that wealthy countries' residents can prevent transmission of COVID-19 + other respiratory viruses by *systemically*

1. Masking; &

2. Air Filtering.
I know I’m in like the top 0.1% of people who take covid seriously.

But seeing how people around me react to it does truly make me feel insane sometimes.

I know everything feels dark and terrible, but More Joy Day is coming back for the 19th year and I'm looking forward to it. I hope you all will join me on January 8, 2026 and share the joy.

More Joy Day is BACK
What's More Joy Day? In short it’s this: Every year since 2008, in the interest of spreading more joy, I’ve proposed that on a designated day in early January we each engage in one act, either online....

We're half a decade into studies finding that improving airflow in classrooms will reduce disease transmission enormously, and that bleaching surfaces etc. does very little. And yet nothing changes. Waves of flu and colds wash over schools, and the schools pretend it's an act of God.

The relative importance of close-proximity interactions, shared space and air quality to the transmission of respiratory viruses is not well understood. Here, the authors investigate this question by ...

My migraines aren't excruciatingly painful but come with a host of odd neurological symptoms: right-side muscle aches; right-side cold skin; extreme tiredness. I used to think my mother went to sleep from her migraines to escape her -- terrible -- pain, but now I realize the exhaustion hits *hard*.

I agree, and view all these careless people's feelings as what they are: a profoundly selfish attachment to nostalgia that is hollow with rot. Let it go; the rot is poisoning people in the here and now.
And I cannot fathom how you can consider yourself a not bad (much less good) person when trans people have been saying for years "This author's work materially hurts me and funds hate movements designed to drive me out of public life" and you still go "B-b-but my childhood!"

This is probably calling out into the void, since my network here is so SMOL, in tumblr terms, but here we go:

Any advice for obtaining high-quality posters or other printed material featuring pencil or charcoal portrait drawings that are at least page-sized, up to two pages? Basically A0 to A1.
