Arc Raiders, especially the audio, gives strong "Oblivion" vibes.

And that's a huge compliment.

DV2 and HDR10+ Advanced sound like a step forward... but neither of these standards address the fundamental issue of content creators STILL not understanding how to use HDR, or (worse) refusing to even try.

“The Matrix”.

Knew literally nothing about it. I’m convinced that made the experience so much better.

Ever since then I’ve avoided trailers like a plague.
What's the best movie that you ever went into 100% blind?

For me, it was the day where my brother and I went to a theater, and what we wanted to see was sold out, so we just randomly picked the next movie available on a Friday movie, something we'd never heard of called The Usual Suspects.
I saw this in Germany at the post theater. No one knew anything about it other than “Sci-fi, Keanu, looks vaguely cyberpunk?” Absolutely annihilated us.

Bit shocked by how much I don't like AirPods Pro 3. Passive isolation and ANC are fantastic, but comfort and EQ took a step back (mids are too low).

Putting my old APP2 back in my ears feels like a treat, which is not a good sign for the APP3 product.

“Something went wrong” is as bad as an error message can get.

Sonos, do better.

The East Wing was really cool. And beautiful. I'm so thankful I got to experience it.

Store model anodization on the 17 Pro isn’t holding up well. Going bare aluminum might be the way to go.

17 Pro's design looks like the most function-over-form we've seen from Apple in a while.

Thermals are clearly a priority. Vapor chamber. Glad to see aluminum is back. Apple's foray into titanium never made a lot of sense.

Cramming compute into the bump exposes it to air even in a case. Love this.

I don’t know how it’s possible for Apple to improve on AirPods Pro 2, but I’m here for it.

2 years ago today I was driving the Nürburgring IRL.

Easily the coolest thing I've ever done. Need to go back.

Upgraded from a Mk3S+ to an H2D. So far: extremely impressed. The amount of tech and complex automation packed into this machine is amazing.

And the speed… it’s bananas.

I haven't played a BF game (in anger anyway) in years, and while I am older and slower now, I'm amazed by how intact my muscle memory is.

BF6 is great.

Tip for my fellow sim racers: you'll likely need HidHide. github.com/nefarius/Hid...

BF6, like most recent BF games, just grabs on to every HID axis it can find and ORs them all together... which results in your soldier spinning around uncontrollably unless you hide all of your gear.

Made a custom LMP2 livery in Photoshop for Le Mans Ultimate out of my go-to coffee choice.

The back-end distribution infrastructure they've built to make this all work in multiplayer is impressive.

New at #SIGGRAPH2025:

Can we make Perlin Noise stretch along some underlying vector field? Well it turns out it's possible with two simple additions to the original method! No need for advection or convolutions.

Congrats to Studio 397 on exiting early access as they hit their 1.0 release of Le Mans Ultimate.

Got a chance this weekend to really dig into it, and I'm absolutely loving it.
