My 4 y.o. *loved* listening to the review of "Once Upon a Katamari" from your 4 y.o. So much in fact that he demanded to listen to it twice (I had to cut it off from there).

I think it’s Nolan’s best. Hans Zimmer deserves a ton of credit too.

That had to be neat. I couldn't escape the trailers for that one :(

Apple's "Adaptive" algorithm is excellent. I recommend trying that if you haven't already.
You can basically walk around with transparency mode, listening to your surroundings mixed with music, and then you can fire up a leaf blower and still hear the music fine.

I’m concerned about the anti-cheat situation though. BF6 has demonstrated that kernel-level anti-cheat is probably a good thing in general, but the industry needs something that works for Linux. Especially since I expect KLAC to catch on moving forward.

Yeah NC/NI and transparency are noticeably better. I just miss the mids of APP2, and the comfort.
BTW good to see you around here Chris. Hope all is well!

APP3 feels like they gave it to an entirely different product design team. Side-grade, at best.
For an Apple product, it's super weird.

It's still very new. I expect this will get standardized. Utilizing TPM 2.0 seems like a good start.
We need better anti-cheat in sim racing, especially. Huge problem over there.

I really hope Linux compatibility gets worked out soon, but personally I’m excited about kernel-level anti-cheat implementations. We honestly need this approach applied to all MP games.

Movies today universally skip the 3-5 minutes of "opening credits over establishing montage" that almost all films from this era had. It's easy to date a film like this from that aspect alone.
