It was so good.....

Nap time.
Perfectly cooked turkey breast. The turkey is sitting in a pan of broth and drippings, and the skin is baked to a perfect and crispy brown. The secret to getting it to look like this is to make one every thanksgiving and also at least one or two more times during the year for 40 plus years. After the first 100 or so it gets easier.

We eat out with relatives on turkey day, then I peacefully cook up a turkey breast, mashed potatoes, and greens beans for just the two of us on Friday. No muss, no fuss, just basting in my jammies and dining on the sofa in front of the TV.
