Beer brewing

As a once avid homebrewer I gave my stuff away this past year. Even then it’s sitting at my friend’s house collecting dust. It’s a lot of fun but the cost to make it and time wasn’t worth it anymore. Even my hops I’m giving away to Amory’s Tomb.

the thing is, this is a *huge* opportunity for us to simultaneously optimize our communities to minimize car usage while maximizing the cars we do use are electric and autonomous, especially in urban areas. remains to be seen who is at the table to write these policies, though.
My skepticism about Waymo in Minneapolis is not about safety or jobs, it’s similar to how I worry about EVs and cheap electricity despite their clear benefits, I don’t want us to keep designing everything around cars

The Trump admin's claim that it was targeting criminal aliens was always bullshit, and it's just hard for me to believe that most Americans don't know that. And assuming they do, this signals just how broken our society has become—it's a sick game we're playing.

“the USPS must turn a profit” makes me want to set things on fire

they put a clause in the fucking constitution about postal service, that’s how important it is

nothing in there about “only if you can make money on it”
🚨SCOOP: Amazon is preparing to sever ties with USPS and expand its shipping network as a true coast-to-coast rival.

It could cost USPS more than *$6 billion* a year in lost revenue, and lead Amazon to dominate yet another facet of the economy.

USPS posted a *$9 billion* loss in 2025.

Wow, this computer monitor is sooo big that it needs a remote! Looks like we will have to add that, while still not adding an annoying android device on it that you hate.

They should continue to make progressively larger OLED monitors until they make a 65" one that's just the same size and shape as a TV and sell it for the same price as a TV.

so the Mazda3 five-door remains the best looking car you can buy in America and I am fortunate to somehow have two identical white ones on my street (unrelated to each other!) but the previous 6 wagon was gorgeous & rumors are the new 6e will have a wagon variant soon.,,

Oh this is relevant for the 10th time in a calendar year? Cool.
I believe we have evolved past the need for Jessica Berman at the helm of the NWSL at this point.

It is explicitly stated in the CBA that there is no maximum salary under the current salary cap, which it seems the Spirit are not contesting and simply want to pay a third of to Trinity Rodman
Another important note here: Bloomberg reports that the NWSLPA has filed a grievance "based on the details of the contract being fair and compliant" with the CBA.

"We want Trinity in the NWSL and we will fight for her." -Jessica Berman, November 20, 2025

As always, actions speak louder than words.
NEW: The Spirit came up with a multi-million dollar offer to keep Trinity Rodman in the league, which she was ready to accept. It was vetoed by NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman, according to sources.

Where's it leave negotiations? Great question. www.nytimes.com/athletic/686...

one of my favorite interactions I've ever had is when a Japanese guy in like his 40s, asked me, with a slightly bewildered tone "where do you even hear about this shit? even Japanese people don't know this" in regards to me talking about some old untranslated game

the world is vast! many games!
there’s no possible way there can exist as many PS1 hidden gems as are being discovered

the only explanation is that people are producing brand-new PS1 deep cuts and backdating them to 1998

Me to my friend’s cat: lol. it’s almost like you like the box better than the toy! haha! that is so funny. what the heck.

Cat: If you loved a joke as much as the laugh, the sun as much as its warmth, your lover as much as their love, you too would love the box as much as the toy, two-legs.
