"tyrannosaurus rex" is kinda one of the craziest called shots of all time if you think about it some dude in 1905 was like 'this was definitely the most badass dinosaur so I will name it as such' and 120 years of research and new discoveries keeps proving him right.

Not exactly the same, but I really like in Dandadan whenever Tatsu has their faces in speech bubbles, but they’re basically muppet caricatures of themselves. I eat it up every time.

The wild box art of some of the lesser-known Psygnosis 'Psyclapse' label releases.

Roger Dean is the most famous artist for many of Psygnosis's covers, but there were also others who created cover art for them, such as Ian Craig, Peter Andrew Jones, and Melvyn Grant.

It might seem silly but I got a kick out of this panel in Dogsred where Noda displayed the teams as just their heads in the blocky numerals. It reminds me of the corner boxed Marvel used to do. Despite the different contexts and distances of years and language, great ideas are great ideas.

Dogsred and Akane Banashi were both very good this week.

You'd also have to do that whole thing where they vary the size of the text to highlight those key words. And have the rough/torn font style.

volumes like this truly continue to reinforce for me that Akane-banashi is one of the best manga that Shonen Jump has ever put out, it is a modern classic, i am always deeply impressed at how consistently excellent it is and i'm happy it continues to do well

The games industry brings in 300 billion dollars a year. The guy who made DOOM gets his projects canceled, the guy who made Katamari Damacy is broke, everyone in your feed is begging for a job and there are 50 new games coming out on Steam every day all going towards buying Gabe Newell's next yacht
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.

He also says he'd love to work on Katamari again, and for someone to invest in his studio.
