Oh I’m also excited to hear Maron on Blank Check (maybe my favorite podcast atm?) talking about one of my favorite Coen Bros movies. I was chuckling at the fact that they were tempering their listeners expectations that the episode wasn’t going to be *that long*

Anyway. This comes at a time when I’m up to my eyeballs in freelance work, so I’ve more or less “caught up” on my podcasts and now I have a 2-shows-a-week gap. So I guess I have to find some new shows.

But I really got endeared to Marc and genuinely cared about following his life. The joke about WTF is “Great show, but skip the first 20 minutes.” Well, I sometimes skipped the interview, but I ALWAYS listened to the intros.

And his show was great of course, real conversations that didn’t feel tied to moving product. I was there for the big early emotional episodes and drama and whatnot.

I got on board WTF pretty early on. I was a big MaxFun listener and even though I almost never did this, an appearance of Marc’s on Jordan Jesse Go was compelling enough that I decided to check out his show. He was a great straight man their silliness I guess. Something moved me to try.
