I’m curious if it actually felt like this in Japan, but at least from my perspective online, it feels like this one has had a larger promotional push than Yamada’s last couple films

It’s tough… For completionist’s sake, chronological releases are the way to go, but the first 5 aren’t the best sampling of what the series has to offer. There are some gems in that second 5 though, and the third & fourth 5 are where it really pops off!

They’re doing 5 at a time. Hope they have better luck than AnimEigo did with the first 4 back in the day!
