I think the first Mistborn book might be an exception. It’s a dystopian novel, sure, but it goes in-depth about the systems of fascism and how “good, civilized” people often ignore cruelty when it’s right next to them.
Liberals never recommend books that would actually radicalise the working class. Instead, they always recommend dystopian novels, identity politics/reductionist fluff, or war criminal (barack obama) memoirs dressed up as “complex moral stories.”
