Probably the bathroom bans, initially. I hadn’t really thought much about trans rights before then but the insanity of the anti-trans stuff made me dig deeper. Now I know trans people. Some of them are friends. I don’t like bullies, and so much of this is just bullying people for being different.

Like no, I don’t want the government to subsidise energy companies so they can make more profits, I want them to spend money actually producing the energy themselves so we pay much less as “customers” and taxpayers overall.
