Not the first article / writer to come upon this realisation and won’t be the last.

AI companies are pushing their crapware so hard hoping to become indentured, unseperable from workflows, so they can jack up the pricing and people can’t afford to turn it off.

Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."

For those of you silly enough to use AI, if you’re using Anthropic be warned - I’m reading that it’s apparently using Grokipedia as a source. The X/Musk Wikipedia clone that replaces facts and reality with RW / MAGA “truths” and talking points.

I am reminded it is that time of year again when people start torturing themselves with silly wargames such as Whamageddon.

Why do I call it a silly wargame?

Because Wargames (1983) got it right in regards to Whamageddon and The Game.

The only way to win, is to not play.

Scoop: The most popular apps in Australia right now are social media platforms not included in the teen ban (so far).

This comes as teens make videos recommending that they all migrate to these alternative platforms to get around the ban — something experts warned about.

The lectureer, Rutger Bregman said that President Trump was the “most openly corrupt president in American history”. This was removed before his lecture was broadcast on Tuesday.

Because, of course, what he said was true.

A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?

One of the best things about following amazing accounts like @thespaceshipper.com is discovering movies you didn’t even hear a single thing about until you saw the poster on torrent sites, may be something you need to actually check out.

Now to look up where it’s available. #FilmSky

These people consider themselves above the law.

They hosted someone with an ICC warrant. Sanctioned the head of the ICC over the warrant, MS complied cutting off the ICC head’s email.

They don’t care it’s war crimes. Who’s going to stop them? They own the supreme court. Laugh at the ICC. #USPol
How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.
