2nd time in 3 years the sec & espn get Alabama in the CFP over more deserving teams. That’s the shame/crime here.

Multiple things I think are true about the final bracket:

-Putting Miami ahead of Notre Dame is the correct choice.

-Flipping them at the last second is ridiculous. The process this whole time has been awful.

-Both teams are better than Alabama.

Manny Diaz got Miami to the playoff after all. We played the long game.
Had this thought around 11 pm last night. That result might have mattered a ton for us.
I think it was Duke winning they couldn't leave ACC out like that

They put us in and I’m still mad at the @cfbplayoff.bsky.social. They made me say this out loud: I feel bad for @notredame.bsky.social. Alabama are a criminal syndicate.

I don't think it's great for faith in the sport's governance that two teams in the 12-year history of the Playoff have made the field when they really shouldn't have, and both of those teams were Alabama

Indiana was the worst team in college football for 150 years and then they let you start paying players and they immediately became No. 1 and the only conclusion one can draw is they were the only ones who didn’t realize you could pay players under the table for the first 150 years.

This branch of the culture has totally lost the idea of masculine virtue being defined against vices that are also masculine
Something that just occurred to me is for all Hegseth's machismo prostrating it's like a classically cowardly thing to kill defenseless men in war. Like by millennia-old standards of honor.

don't worry, john roberts says this is a legitimate exercise of presidential power and if we did anything to curb it, we would be robbing the executive of the energy he needs to do his job

In other words, Trump admits he was trying to use his pardon power to buy Republicans a House seat.

Most have won at least two.
Dolphins posted their congrats to Inter Miami … the comment at the bottom lol

"How do I make my boss happy?" is the question that dominates the mind of every little authoritarian, and they instinctively assume it's on everyone else's mind as well.
Hassett: "The way to think about what AI & its agents can do is they can act as if they're the best coach you've ever had. And so while you're trying to figure out, how do I make my boss happy? It's like you've got a coach right there with you every step of the way."

For the first time in a regular season game since Jan. 5, 2007 -- a span of 1297 games -- LeBron James has scored in single digits.

He passes out of the paint to Hachimura for a buzzer-beating 3 to win, losing the streak in the process.

It took me a minute, because I wouldn’t consider a lot of my memorabilia obscure. But then I remembered I have a baseball signed by Orioles legend Robert “The Curse of the” Andino. He was at Spring Training during his second Os stint in 2017, I saw him near the dugout and I had to have his signature
What is the most "obscure" piece of sports memorabilia that you own? Why do you have it?
