A new statement from Epstein survivors:

"Once again, survivors are having their names and identifying information exposed, while the men who abused us remain hidden and protected. That is outrageous."

Trump’s America 2026. Masked armed men in body armor arresting journalists in the night.

We’re truly going back to the 1930s.

At least one of the newly released Epstein file is already down.

This link no longer appears to work (www.justice.gov/epstein/file...)

It contained an FBI email chain outlining an allegation against Trump involving sexual activities with a child.

This is a screenshot from that email chain.

i continue to believe that politicians should be given a generous pension from the day they are sworn in, at the same value as their salary, which should be very high and inflation adjusted

if they take any other money until they are dead they should go to prison and lose their pension
one thing I faintly dream of is politicians being held to much higher standards for their post-office careers, even to the point of legal restraint.

you know who has generally been a good model for this? Gordon Brown.
Tucker Carlson: "Saudi Arabia [...] is kind of a weirdly free place.”

Hillary Clinton: "The example that the kingdom is setting for the right kind of development [...] that is a very strong model for other parts of the world"

Yeah I think at this point re UBI while I have seen some debate about its effects in rich countries there's just now a lot of empirical evidence that we can actually simply transfer money to people in the global south and its really just... good. We should just do it. Justice and expedience align.
"Not only don't people work less when they are guaranteed an income, they might actually put in more effort at work. And the fact that they have more money to spend leads to the creation of more jobs."
