Tragically, this entire litter of puppies was dumped and has since contracted parvovirus at the shelter. We want to give them the best chance at surviving and thriving. They are very tiny but also very brave and you can help them below ❤️🩹

One of the people seemingly deported to El Salvador unlawfully under the Alien Enemies Act had a court hearing scheduled for TOMORROW where he was going to present evidence that he was not a member of Tren de Aragua. Now he may be in an Salvadoran prison.

Our favourite bickering siblings (of sorts), Sulwe (left) and Lenny (right), are constantly trying to outwit and outshine each other. They turn the midday milk feed into a fierce race to the finish line, stout legs pumping and ears flapping. It’s far too contentious to pick a winner so it's a draw!

In light of today’s governmental warnings about alcohol causing cancer: “…as the evidence was becoming clear that women are disproportionately vulnerable to alcohol’s cancer risks, the industry mounted a campaign to get them to drink even more.“
Drinking may have given me cancer. The alcohol industry has worked hard to downplay it.
The science is clear that alcohol raises the risk of breast cancer, but boozemakers have downplayed the link.

From this angle, little Lenny looks even smaller as he sticks close to his devoted nanny, Kiasa. She’s fully embraced her role, even staying out at night to be by his side! While Kiasa snacks on greens, Lenny stays tucked by her legs, a testament to the nurturing bonds within elephant families.

In the spirit of giving, if you have some disposable cash, consider a donation to the Homeless Advocacy Project. Part of what they do is help people get benefits targeted by "DOGE." It was already hard; it'll be even more of a fight going forward.
