George Retes is an American citizen and veteran who was unjustly pepper-sprayed, arrested, and imprisoned for three days by ICE.

Yet he won't be intimidated by this lawless administration. He's speaking up and telling his story as part of a new $250k @ofthebraveusa.bsky.social campaign. 👇
There are no words.
This is both disgusting and expected.

Aren’t we lucky that in The Race For AI Dominance that is supposed to replace countless jobs, companies are also increasing prices to account for Trump’s tariffs and jobs are getting slashed in every direction.
Hey— are we great yet?
BRENNAN: A survey of CEOs said they anticipate employment decreasing next year. Are you concerned?

HASSETT: The Fed said they're more bullish

B: But these are CEOs who would be doing hiring, and they say they're not

H: They don't have the perspective we'll get when we get the big data release

So… it’s not a war and we’re just killing people. Got it.
Trump: "It's not only land strikes on Venezuela. It's land strikes on horrible people that are bringing in drugs and killing our people. If we were in a war and we lost 300,000 in a year -- that's what the real number is ... it would be a war that's unparalleled."

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

BENNIE THOMPSON: Where is antifa headquartered?

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

THOMPSON: What does that mean?

When my 44 YO husband had a stroke, we called 9-1-1 & ambulance took him to the *nearest* hospital. Then I had to fight my insurance company for a ‘network gap exception’ to pay bc the ambulance company wasn’t in-network, & insurance couldn’t provide a list of in-network neurologists they’d pay for.

WOW. So this is obviously a huge violation of this man's rights, and it illustrates a few things we're seeing broadly:

- DHS officers are ignoring peoples' IDs and instead requiring screening through their own systems
- Confirms @404media.co's reports of use of DHS's facial recognition app.

Fuuuuck.
But we need to fire thousands of healthcare workers from the VA to cut costs?
@warren.senate.gov publishes a report listing all the $$ that Congress gave to DOD to do DOD things that DOD instead spent on Stephen Miller's snatch and grab.

As you look at these numbers, think how much cancer research could have been funded.

I wonder what his attitude is about people who were not born in America but spend billions of dollars influencing American elections.

Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

Trump seemingly hates and distrusts his sons, but loves Ivanka and This Guy. It’s absurdly corrupt to have him anywhere near these things. I guess the lesson learned in Trump 1 is that Jared is an asset— but an asset who needs his hands untethered to any kind of official accountability.

The text and history all point in one direction and the counter-arguments are patently fraudulent. I am going to lose my mind
