Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Can you imagine how much time we'd have if we didn't have to keep saying "You're on mute" or "Somebody has muted their microphone"?

If it's any consolation my new studio monitors are not cut off by the headphones being plugged in
I habitually wear closed studio headphones - the speakers are a novelty

Was thinking about AI today and was reminded of poison damage in Final Fantasy. That’s what AI is. But we’ve poisoned ourselves. We’ve poisoned ourselves with so much shit and it just keeps taking HP in the background while we’re trying to kill whatever tarantulas we’re fighting.
