Today is Long COVID Awareness Day.

We recognise those living with LC and those caring for people with LC.

We must all provide support and join the call for research and a remedy for LC.

This Billboard was captured in Melbourne, Australia.

Since the start of COVID, the number of people reporting a disability soared. Yet the majority of the world acts like COVID is over, and Long COVID doesn't exist.

It's Long Covid Awareness Day. I know ~10 people (still) suffering from life-altering Long Covid. The only 'special' thing about me? I've been public about my own illness, so I hear stories others don't. Long Covid is widespread, devastating, and deserves everyone's attention

I’m thinking of everyone who has been affected by Long COVID. This condition is unimaginably lonely, but I promise you’re not alone.

The disability community has been a lifeline for me through this, I would be lost without them. I hope you can find people who understand and support you ❤️

What. The. Actual. Hell?!

"Face masks would also be banned at protests, with Allan saying they were being used by some demonstrators to conceal their identities."

So, disabled/immunocompromised people have just lost their right to protest and stay safe!?

SHAME ON VIC GOVT!

I’m only a failure by human standards. if I was a children’s book badger in an apron I’d be like “whoa this house is massive, and I own so many cheeses and jams.”

the coolest part of being disabled in a pandemic is the ongoing normalisation of eugenics and complete disregard and dehumanisation of disabled and chronically ill people

The only lockdown that's happening is the locking out of higher risk people from society indefinitely because governments are refusing to enact basic public health policies to slow the spread of disease during an ongoing pandemic.

I'm tired of trying to get people to care about ME/CFS

I need to stop trying, at least for now. It's not worth my time. People just don't believe it because they're like "but surely if there was an illness this bad and this prevalent we would have done something about it already!" and well, no. :/
