Library dude. Rock star. Dog, two kids, a wife. Abolish ICE
It’s nice seeing all of these former White Sox pitchers doing well for themselves elsewhere. It would be nice to keep one every once in a while, though.

I think a lot of people have never really experienced the idea of not getting what you want simply because you want it.
Oh, I can’t get/watch/listen to a thing? I guess my only option is to steal it rather than consuming any of the 18 million billion other forms of readily available entertainment.
I dont think pirating books is evil or anything, obviously sometimes that happens for whatever reason but i find it fundamentally bizarre to act like its a revolutionary act

Fewer Steely Dan uncles, please.
"Thanksgiving should be an opportunity to respectfully put our differences aside—to laugh about our shared memories and strengthen our familial bonds. Instead, my uncle lectures me about the production quality of the band’s Grammy Award-winning album Aja."
Thanksgiving Is Always Ruined by That One Uncle Obsessed with Steely Dan
There are so many reasons to look forward to Thanksgiving. There’s the food, of course, but there’s also the chance to reconnect with our families ...

Once again I have not been nominated for GQ man of the year.

This can also be applied to popular movie franchises.
my pie take is that taste is subjective and just because you don't like something doesn't mean its bad

Krampus is too mainstream. We need a new, even weirder, bit of holiday folklore.

I go back and forth between this and “God Only Knows” for best song ever.

Do any White Sox fans have an idea whose signature this is? It’s from my mom’s 1959 pennant.
It’s not Minoso, his signature is elsewhere on the pennant.

FYI, your library has movies you can check out for the holiday weekend. They may have toys, board games, or activity kits to check out for the kids and grandkids.

The library is awesome and you should check it out.

The small local businesses are not the ones who are donating money to the ugly ballroom that is destroying the once beautiful White House. Boycott the large and greedy American corporations.

Odds are that there are a bunch of such bands that play to mostly empty rooms in every mid to large city. Seek out local music. Chat up the musicians. Buy their records.
no offense but i hope we get back to emo music with distorted guitars and good singers again soon

This is how Ben Franklin did it in the Bible.
The only rad way to deep fry a turkey is to slam dunk that frozen motherfucker right into a pot of boiling oil with your bare hands. Anything less is pure cowardice.

Had a minor breakdown because I had to replace our toilet and the pipe hole flange doohickey wasn’t anything like the YouTube videos led me to believe it would be. Everything sucks.

I think it’s been about two years since I finished act two of my musical. Just finished writing the lyrics to the first act three song. It’ll be all finished by 2043.

Asking my wife if we already had a can of cranberry gloop, and she said she was going to make her own gloop. That’s fine and all, but I need my damn Ocean Spray gloop.

Learning about Gilbert’s old toys was one of the more interesting things to do at the Gilbert House here in Salem, Oregon.
These days, kids have to learn about lanthanides and actinides on the street. This wasn't always true.
