I don't have a horse in the "most white queer polycules are racist" claim that's happening.
But I will say that "why would you want to be in a racist polycule?" Isn't the point. It's the fact that it happens often in the first place, and it's met with shock every time when yall know what's going on

I have a birth mark in my left eye and growing up people would always say I should get it removed and have my eye color "touched up" to look "more natural"
It lowkey fucked me up as a teenager and recently I realized it was/is a big reason for my body image issues.

I think @pleasantlytwstd.blacksky.app's work for and with @blackinaflash.bsky.social has done an immeasurable amount of good for showcasing and uplifting Black speedrunners and gamers. They've also paved the way for other people of color (like myself) to be more visible in our spaces too 💜
Because I just got emotional watching a thing, I'm going to inflict this emotion on everyone else: Please RT this and shout out someone whose work is important to you. Don't wait to praise our best until they're gone. Give them their flowers while they can hear it and know they're appreciated.

I really wanted a new hobby and my gf at the time suggested a card game. She was going to get me a yugioh pack but got mtg instead. Found a card store 20 min away. Rest is history
