Well done Scotland. 👏
The change, secured by @scottishgreens.org MSP @markruskell.bsky.social will ensure that all new buildings over a certain size must include #SwiftBricks as part of their design.

#OnThisDay 10th December 2022. First morning in Western Australia. I really need to go back very soon.

#OnThisDay 9th December 2010. My sweet little shepherdess in the school nativity play. She really struggled with things like this, which I now know were early signs of RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria) Look at her anxious little face. It breaks my heart. 💔

I think this is a slippery slope.
"A move towards an authoritarian state": what those with trial experience think of removing juries

David Lammy plans to cut the number of jury trials in England and Wales. A defendant, a victim, a barrister, a KC, a judge and a juror have concerns

#OnThisDay 7th December 2020. Trying on bridesmaid’s dresses for my eldest’s wedding the following summer. Two of the girls weren’t able to be there, and joined in by zoom. 🙂

#OnThisDay 6th December 2023. Salthouse Marshes on the North Norfolk Coast. Acres of reed beds, salt and freshwater pools, Brant geese, teal and mute swans. I was there with Aldo and not another person in sight. Bliss!

This needs to happen!
I know I have some people in the music industry following me. This is a great idea. A live aid type of concert benefitting Gaza on the same night that Eurovision airs, with hopefully all countries who are boycotting Eurovision participating here
I could see the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign trying to organise something like that in Ireland. It would be great if we could do something jointly with the other countries that are also boycotting. I see Zoe Lawlor sometimes - chair of the IPSC - so will sound her out.

I don’t have a big following but I’m happy to share anyway. Every little helps….
If you have a big following, please share this petition to get the word back out there - we are so close but need to help raise awareness with the new set of MPs in Government actnow.peatfreepartnership.org.uk/end-peat-sal... @peatfree.bsky.social

I haven’t watched the programme yet as I knew it would make me cross and I needed to be able to sleep last night. I will watch it on iPlayer tomorrow. I have so much admiration for @zackpolanski.bsky.social and the eloquence and raw honesty with which he speaks.

This is a superb speech from @zackpolanski.bsky.social

It’s why the #BBC make Question Time, in order to hear different voices, and Zack’s is undoubtedly the strongest in the room here.

“You’re a Government of cowards.” Spot on. Labour *never* speaks positively about immigration #bbcqt

#OnThisDay 4th December 2012 We loved this car at the time. It was brilliant in some ways, we could drive it anywhere, it pulled the trailer, carted muddy dogs and feral kids around. But it was noisy, uncomfortable, hot, cold, gas guzzling, heavy. Got an EV now.🤣

Hello #GardensHour. I haven’t taken any photos yet this December. So here’s one of last year’s Christmas wreath made from bits from the garden. Lots of work here all winter when the soil is dry enough. The whole garden is having a revamp. 🙂

#OnThisDay 1st December 2018, Boot room storage made by my talented husband for practically nothing using reclaimed floorboards. It’s still going strong although we have added cupboards with doors so we have somewhere to store all the kids’ cricket bags.

The RSPB invited the British public to vote on this year’s Bird of the Year. Guess which bird won with 81% of the vote? A bird who needs the prize to be swift bricks! Oh yes, the swift won. Email your MP now about swifts. We need to pull together for Britain’s most popular bird
