Local police stood by while neo nazi Jake Lang pepper sprayed people from the back of a Uhaul, then the cops attacked protestors. All in defense of a concentration camp staffed by fascist gestapo filth. This is Minneapolis.
Tayler Mitchell said he was pepper sprayed by Jake Lang as the Jan. 6 rioter drove by the crowd of anti-ICE protesters outside the Whipple Federal Building in a U-Haul.

This will cause DC to get financial downgrade even tho the city has balanced its budget for 20+ years until Congress interfered.
This flew under the radar given how terrible so many things are, but this is a disgusting attack from House Republicans on DC's autonomy, shoving corporate tax giveaways onto the District that its electeds voted to reject. www.detroitnews.com/story/news/p...
House rejects D.C. tax changes, potentially costing the city $600M in revenue
The GOP measure, known as a disapproval resolution, passed on a party-line vote of 215 to 210.

just building this awful camp system is a crime against humanity imo
The proposed centers are so large that some could house as many as 8,000 detainees at once, according to a DHS spreadsheet of more than 20 potential locations that was verified by NBC News. The largest federal prison in the U.S., for example, has roughly 4,000 inmates.
ICE plans to build mega warehouses for immigration detention spark growing concern
Sources at two government contractors told NBC News they were worried that new warehouses — and the large numbers of immigrants who would be housed in them — would present safety problems.

Bezos fired the foreign correspondents without even giving them a plane ticket home. They should be able to sue his ass for everything. In the meantime give to their fund here.
Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries.

One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didn’t even pay to ensure they got home.

Bad Bunny isn't an immigrant.

This shit is cooked through. 150 years of being a newspaper and now you're a 4chan comment thread.
The Super Bowl halftime show, with Bad Bunny showcasing Latin music before a global television audience expected to top 100 million, will illustrate the nation’s immigration divide whether or not the reggaeton star delivers an explicit political message.

"Epstein class" is terrific not simply because several of them are directly tied to Epstein's crimes, but because it strikes at the corruption, immorality and impunity of that entire circle.
Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.
