*I have no idea who these people are, but let's make them miserable* is such a weird philosophy yet so many people/Americans seem to endorse this wholeheartedly.

So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

Probably a good way to tell right now if the job you’re applying for is run by absolute dumbfucks is to ask if they’re using AI.
"The AI industry’s most important product at this moment is not a chatbot or a video generator; it’s the story the AI industry is telling about itself.... According to an MIT study, 95% of businesses that have deployed generative AI have gotten no value from it." www.theringer.com/2025/11/04/t...

I think a number of press outlets badly want there to be a groundswell of anti-trans feeling, because the ownership/senior editorial of those papers have absolutely cooked their own brains on transphobia. It seems to be largely an elite psychosis!
the harris campaign said the “they/them” ad didn’t sway the election.

one of the trump campaign’s top strategists this week said trans rights isn’t in the top five issues for swing voters.

when will the press stop talking about us like we’re a liability and start looking itself in the mirror

Something worth noting: Rockstar is leaning HEAVILY on the excuse that the unionising employees were "leaking private company information"

They want people to assume this means game info or assets.

But I will bet you CASH MONEY this translates to:

'they were comparing salaries and work contracts"

DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

Nuremburg trials is the moderate position
He said that the agents would throw food at them to eat. The agents threatened to withhold food for a week and to beat him up if he didn't sign deportation papers. He said he saw others refuse and get beaten/receive no food. He signed because he was afraid.

And this is the important part - "not "left," necessarily, but away from Rs/towards Dems." The Democrats won big not because they are running fantastic campaigns (Mamdani excluded) but because Rs are trying to establish a dictatorship. As soon as that goes away, things are going to rubberband back.
Fascinating chart by @gelliottmorris - every demographic group in Virginia shifted towards the Dems (not "left," necessarily, but away from Rs/towards Dems) from 2024 to 2025; huge in the case of women, young people, Hispanic/Latino & Asian American voters bluevirginia.us/2025/11/frid...

Close your eyes and imagine what you'd think a Ken Burns documentary about the American Revolution would look like. That's EXACTLY what "The American Revolution," directed by Burns, Sarah Botstein and David P. Schmidt, is. Zero artistic surprises, but still sturdy.

My review:
‘The American Revolution’ Review: Ken Burns Tackles the War for Independence in Patriotic, Pragmatic and Familiar Form
PBS' six-part, 12-hour documentary lets Burns, Sarah Botstein and David P. Schmidt dive deep into all-too-relevant U.S. history.

The Hurl of Sandwich.

The defendant walked free, with a rye smile on his face.

Despite grilling him, the prosecution was unable to summon the special sauce needed to get a conviction. Their case was toast from the beginning.

And thus a hero was born.

I'm sorry. I'm trying to delete this
