New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.

Trump killed half the federal government with something like 30% approval. No, we do not need to secure 90% approval for eliminating ICE before we do it. ICE must die.
Then convince that other 45%. That’s your job as an activist, not Congress’ job.

To understand what's happening here, you have to understand that people are framing this as "what would I do if the Nazis came back?"

Case in point: a lawyer friend told me she just quit her cushy in-house counsel job to do full time pro bono for detainees.
Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.
This is so smart. I’m so impressed with all the different ways you’re helping your neighbors.

Arrest them all. There is no version of reality in which this meets the “necessary and proper” stands of Naegle. These thugs are NOT protected by their federal role. ARREST THEM.

New — I wrote about ChongLy Scott Thao, the elderly Hmong American wrongly arrested and forced out of his home by ICE in his underwear during the punishing Minnesota winter, what witnesses saw, and DHS's racist claim that he fit the description of another Asian man they were looking for.

My story:
Behind the disturbing image of ICE snatching a half-naked, elderly Hmong American from his home
DHS has claimed without evidence that they were looking for someone else when they took ChongLy Scott Thao.

Except with the tariffs, China *did* escalate against the US and ended up with the upper hand.

The fines Trump pardoned weren't just generic punishments, much of it was restitution to victims of the crime. This means that in exchange for bribes, Trump gave away money that belonged to crime victims. It's very MAGA!
