At least that's how I started out playing. I also remember when I finally upgraded to a GeForce 2 MX and could turn on OpenGL 😶

And the Liberal government lives to see another day.

As @donvdavies.bsky.social just put it, this is a Conservative budget.

#cdnpoli
The budget vote PASSES 170-168. If my live vote page is correct, there were 2 NDP absences, 2 CPC absences. CPC absent: Matt Jeneroux and Shannon Stubbs. The Speaker also didn't vote, of course.

I’m happy the RCMP is recognizing their past wrongs. But, they need to stop trying to make it sound like ancient history, my deferral in March 2016 was explicitly because of my gender identity.

I was unsuitable for employment because I identified as trans but hadn’t transitioned.
November 14, 2025 at 10:21 PM
Poilievre on CBC trying so hard to make something of the "dissent" in the Liberal party because some members are happy with the budget.

Totally failing to realize that disagreement is normal. Lack of dissent in the Conservative party and demand of undying loyalty to the leader is problematic.

Wait, YYZ too?? This better not mess up my work trip in December.
Looks like American air travel is already fucked and getting more so, in the wake of Duffy’s 10% reduction announcement. Hold onto your butts.

I'm wondering what's going on with the job market here in Canada.

I posted a standard "Security Analyst" role, not entry level but also more GRC focused. Seeing substantial amount of applicants with "Sr. Security Engineer" and "Sr. Security Analyst" in current employment with decent orgs?

This day keeps getting better.

What's the over/under another crosses the floor before the week is out.
Dimitri Soudas, former Harper comms guy, told RadCan this morning that he's hearing Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux will cross the floor to the Liberals today.

If this happens, the Liberals are one seat short of a majority. You know what that means.

That's right.

Elizabeth May is Kingmaker.

Guess I really didn't need to do all that work today after all.

I really can't stress enough to everyone I talk to how authoritative this is.

I really hope Alberta labour can come together and make things extremely uncomfortable for the UCP government.

This ongoing abuse of the NWC to strip individuals rights needs to be cut quick. #cdnpoli
An important note…

Smith isn’t just overriding the federal Charter…

She’s also overriding the Alberta Human Rights Act AND the Alberta Bill of Rights she just rewrote.

@rob-for-ndp-leader.bsky.social I know you're being pragmatic with the NP, but the costal tanker ban has a legitimate need for existence. I'm not sure we can adequately reduce the risk to and make it acceptable.

I have to say as a Canadian, Oregon outside of Portland is something else.

My dad spent some time working in Durkee in the late 90s and the tales I heard.
Fun legal fact of the day: Florence, OR, where federal agents famously (and illegally) used a thermal imager to detect Danny Kyllo's grow operation in 1992, is the the same oceanfront community that, in 1970, famously (and disastrously) tried to dispose of a beached whale carcass using dynamite.

I see the daily mail is continuing to live up to its journalistic integrity standards.
The Cowichan Tribes debate is quickly becoming an international culture war issue, which means any attempt by someone to try and clarify facts, timelines or arguments by the people materially involved in the actual discussion will not matter in slightest.

But literally none of this is correct.

Still probably too much power allocated for AI compared to DCs.

But that second point is exactly what I was hoping for.
BC is also making its ban on power for crypto mining permanent and restricting access for AI and data centres

Projects can apply for a limited amount of power every 2 years, starting in Jan 2026

300 megawatts for AI centres, 100MW for data centres

Some good leadership from the BC NDP. We don’t need to be providing power to AI that don’t help create jobs here.
Energy Minister Adrian Dix introduces Bill 31, Energy Statutes Amendment Act

The plan is to create an electricity allocation framework to prioritize power for natural resource projects like LNG and mines. It will also set rules for AI and data centres seeking to connect to BC's grid
