germany allows for no gender marker or an x as gender marker and I made an active choice to not do this because this effectively creates a list of trans people for the government. no gender marker for anyone please.
This was barely covered, but the US regime made it harder for people with "X" on their passports to fly. Creating a de facto no fly list of nonbinary and trans people.
People who use they/them pronouns face documented employment discrimination. Is that material enough for you?

if you're worried about online sexual exploitation, first of all, same! removing children's right to refuse PII to strangers is not the answer.
but also ask yourself whether that problem is made better or worse by making it easier for anyone even slightly web savvy to find a child's name & location

The belief that trans people should be discriminated against because they are inherently predatory, as opposed to the cis strangers that parents allow their children to share a bathroom with, is in fact a crystal clear example of anti-trans bigotry (and mirrors other forms of bigotry, I might add)
Just because folks don't want people who were not born to the sex they want to be to not be allowed into the bathroom of their choice does not mean they are anti- trans. It means they are just not comfortable with you being in their with their precious children as how do they know what your doing.

I've been reading Leslie Feinberg's Stone Butch Blues this week, and through it all one thought has kept coming to me: A few years ago this would have been a historical novel, the emotion would have been "Thank god we moved past this." Now it feels a chilling vision of the future.

I'm glad this specifically names and discusses the mechanisms of societal transmisogyny and harsh policing of transfemininity under patriarchy, which results in transfems staying closeted for longer. While the number of trans men and women are roughly equal, trans women tend to come out later.

I think it's important to note the audience for this isn't really cisgender LGB people (who polling tells us overwhelmingly favor trans rights) but is meant to serve as a permission structure for a broader audience to abandon trans rights while still claiming they're "liberal"

It's an inherently bad idea to put age restrictions on arbitrary sections of the internet, but if they insist on doing it, putting the onus on individual websites to verify the ages of every UK-based visitor is clearly completely unworkable.

"it's for kids turn your brain off have fun" is not only anti-intellectual and anti-education, it's against the idea that children have interiority and are growing people learning about the world. miyazaki's films are so beloved for instance because they're films aimed at children that respect that.
