I enjoyed my trip back to the Midwest to see family and stock up on cream of mushroom soup (so many varieties!) and am now delighted to be back in the northeast where lots of people mask at the grocery store because this flu season is not messing around.

Today in Things That Are Not The Same, I realized I’ve been vaguely conflating Weather Report and Weather Underground (by which I mean that whenever either is mentioned I think of the jazz group though I’m also aware of the political group). Both radicals in their way, I suppose.
